On August 6, 2017, Lil Peep would tell the Sunday Times of London in an interview he wanted to be the Kurt Cobain for the social media generation. Rolling Stone said he had the casual charisma of a born star and shamelessly catchy music that combined emo melodies and hip-hop beats.

In the final leg of his “Come Over When You’re Sober” world tour, the rapper would share a series of eerie Instagram posts with one reading, “When I Die You’ll Will Love Me.”

On November 15th before his scheduled Tucson show, two 16-year-old fans, Nick Dowd and Mariah Bons would approach the rapper offering him drugs.

For the two fans, sitting on the tour bus with Lil Peep was a dream come true. The three got high talked video games, clothes, and music. However, their fateful encounter would have tragic consequences. Just a few hours later, the rapper would be found alone and dead of a suspected drug overdose.

Join us on a supernatural journey as we investigate the mysterious death of the poetic rapper, Lil Peep, and his backstage exit to the afterlife.

This is Death by Misadventure.
